Day trips into London from the Cotswolds

A day trip to London from the Cotswolds is easily possible in as little as 2 hours 10 minutes by train.

Visit the Trainline website to view prices and times.

If you travel by train, by a travelcard so that you can hop on and off the London Underground and buses.

London is best visited in day trips because it is tiring walking from one tourist attractions to another. It's much nicer to holiday in the country and enjoy day trips to London.

Other methods of travel into London are coach, organised tours and to drive in by car. We do not recommend driving in by car unless it's on a Sunday. You would need to pay for the London Congestion Charge in advance. The days that are exempt from the Congestion Charge are weekends, public holidays, and between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
